Dr Jiong (Jon) Zhou

Dr Zhou completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at Macquarie University and his studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Technology Sydney(UTS). He has also obtained a certificate in remedial massage and a Level 4 Certificate in Training and Assessment. Over the years, he has accumulated extensive clinical experience. He previously worked as a tutor in TCM and Acupuncture at the UTS, contributing to the education and development of acupuncture practitioners. Currently, he serves as the Secretary of the Tai Chi Association of Australia (TCAA), actively promoting the integration of traditional Qigong and Tai Chi into clinical rehabilitation. In his years of clinical practice, he has specialised in applying techniques such as physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, acupuncture, traditional Chinese bone-setting manipulation, and remedial massage to effectively address musculoskeletal injuries, manage chronic pain, and improve mobility limitations caused by various chronic conditions.

• Dr Zhou is skilled in integrating traditional Chinese bone-setting and acupuncture with Western physiotherapy methods, as well as incorporating traditional Tai Chi and Qigong practices into clinical treatment, providing patients with unique and comprehensive treatment plans.
