New patients
New patients are welcome to make an appointment by phone or online by clicking on the “BOOK NOW ” tab on the top right of pages.
If you are a New Patient to Hurstville Highpoint Medical Centre please bring the following to your first consultation:
- A valid Medicare card if you have one (check expiry date)
- If you are a Workcover patient, you will need to inform your Employer prior to the consultation and bring your employer ' s contact details for verification to arrange payment through Workcover. If you don't have a claim number, you need to pay for the bill and claim it back from your Workcover insurer.
- If you don't have a valid Medicare card, you need to pay cash upfront and claim it back from your private insurer . We are Bulk Bill GP consultation. For procedures, you may be asked to pay contribution of sterile equipment or a private fees.

- If you need to change your appointment time please inform us as soon as possible on (02) 8065 9618 or (02) 9580 1964.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your consultation to complete a New Patient Registration Form or bring the completed form to your first appointment.
